Custom Dupioni Silk Throw Pillows

Our silk dupioni fabric is hand-woven using pure dupioni yarns from double nested cocoons. Silk dupioni is a shimmering silk that is created by weaving silk threads of two colors into a weave that seems to change colors as the silk moves around different lights. Our dupioni silk pillows are constructed with threads made from rough silk fibers which are interlocked, employing a set of vibrant colors in the weave. Threads of natural silk vary in thickness, producing a beautiful texture. Hand loomed silk dupioni has weaving irregularities like slubs, barres and loops which are inherent to the fabric and enhance its exotic beauty.
